The Wolfeboro Parks and Recreation Department provides year-round recreation opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages.  As the nation’s oldest summer resort community, Wolfeboro prides itself on providing parks, beaches, recreational programs and facilities to suit just about any taste.

The Wolfeboro Department of Parks and Recreation oversees 5 parks, 3 beaches, 1 skate park, 1 multi-use rail trail, Abenaki Ski Area and the Pop Whalen Ice Arena. The Department maintains 32 town-owned cemeteries, 3 conservation areas, maintains median strips, gardens and other public properties throughout Wolfeboro and manages the Wolfeboro Community Center. The Department also provides structured recreational programming for participants aged 3-100+ and annually enrolls over 3000 individuals in recreational programming ranging from Summer Day Camp, Sailing and Swim Lessons to the Granite Man Triathlon, Ski and Snowboard Camp and Skating Lessons.
