The Abenaki Ski Team has 2 divisions: Alpine Racing and Freestyle (Ski and Snowboard). Both teams will be registered USSA teams with a high level of coaching in order to instruct skiers in alpine racing or freestyle skiing.  Freestyle Ski and Snowboard Team InformationParticipants will have one practice per week at Abenaki and will have the option to participate in 1 or 2 Eastern Division Freestyle Meets in order to introduce members to the world of freestyle skiing/snowboarding. There will be separate coaches and teams for both freestyle skiing and freestyle snowboarding. In order to qualify as a USSA team, members will have to have memberships in USSA (United States Ski Assocation). See details below.

This year we will offer a once a week Freestyle ski and snowboard program. This is not for beginners, but for those of you who are looking to become better skiers or snowboarders and would love to bring your park skiing and riding skills to the next level. We will focus on the big air jump as well as hitting rails, boxes and smaller jumps. There will be separate coaches and teams for both freestyle skiing and freestyle snowboarding. The team will be a registered USSA team and members will need to become members of USSA in order to join. Participants will have the option to participate in
any number of Eastern Division Freestyle Meets in order to introduce members to the world of freestyle skiing/snowboarding.
Ages: 8 and up
Location: Abenaki Ski Area
Date: Jan 7--March 11, 2013 (10 weeks)
Time: Monday evenings 5:30pm--7:30pm
Registration Fee: $230.00 (checks payable to Abenaki Ski Team)
Limited space on each team.
All members must have an Abenaki season pass and USSA memberships to participate.
Registration Fee does not include:
- Abenaki Season Pass: $25.00 (individual)
- USSA Membership $60
- Meet fees for optional meets @ $40-50 each
