WOLFEBORO TOWN DEPARTMENTS OPERATIONAL PERIOD MONDAY May 11-18, 2020
On Sunday March 15, 2020 we took the action of limiting access to Town Hall. Since that action we have worked with staff and citizens to ensure local government operations continue to meet the needs of our citizens. Below you will find an updated summary of departmental operations which will remain in effect through this operational period. We are continually evaluating this situation and have scheduled another public update for May 18th, 2020 or sooner should it be necessary. Please join us in practicing social distancing in an effort to reduce the impacts of this Coronavirus. Please note: Public Safety entities including: Ambulance Service, Central Dispatch, Fire-Rescue, and Police are staffed as normal with some operational modifications to protect first responders.

BILLING AND COLLECTION OFFICE
The Billings and Collections Office shall be staffed Monday– Friday 8:00AM – 4:00PM, however closed to the general public. Transactions should be performed through online functions. These include; payment of: electric bills, water bills, sewer bills. We encourage everyone utilize these secure systems to pay bills. Should you prefer payment of these bills through the traditional check method, we encourage you to utilize the drop box in the rear Town Hall, 24 hours a day. Should you need to make a cash payment we recommend you contact the office directly. TOWN CLERK OFFICE
The Town Clerk’s Office shall be staffed Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:00PM. Transactions should be performed through online functions through Online Renewals at: https://www.eb2gov.com/scripts/eb2gov.dll/townlaunch?towncode=236. Should you require an in person transition with the Town Clerk’s Office contact the office directly via email [email protected] or phone at 603-569-5328. The need for appointments shall be evaluated on a case by case bases depending on criticality of the transaction.
PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
The Planning and Development Department, including Building/Code Enforcement functions, will be staffed from 7AM to 4PM Monday through Friday, though closed to the public for appointments and application drop off. All questions and requests for information related to building permits or planning applications shall be directed to the office at 603-569-5970 or via email to [email protected]

OTHER DEPARTMENTS OF TOWN HALL
Assessing, Finance, Human Resources, Town Management, Public Works, and Welfare shall be staffed in person or virtually Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:00PM and are available by email or telephone.

Wolfeboro Solid Waste will begin collecting metal and construction debris.
TO UTILIZE THIS SERVICE YOU MUST COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES:
- You must wear a cloth face covering or mask.
- You must maintain a minimum of 6’ social distancing from staff at all times.
- You must place payment in the collection box provided. Check only.
The Swap Shop is closed indefinitely.
Solid Waste shall maintain the Winter Hours schedule for the foreseeable future as follows;
Monday, Tuesday, Friday 07:30 – 3:30PM
Saturday 7:00AM – 3:00 PM
Sunday 7:30AM – 2:30 PM
Closed Wednesday & Thursday
Municipal Electric remains staffed as normal. Monday –Friday 8:00AM – 3:30PM. Should you require an in person interaction with Municipal Electric please call 603-569-6975 during the hours indicated.
PARKS & RECREATION
Parks & Recreation is currently staffed. Beaches are closed, we have also closed playgrounds to maintain social distancing and reduce the need to disinfect. Public Restrooms will remain open please utilize good hygiene, wash your hands after usage.
