See Table of Contents below for links to a complete history archive about the 1929 Allgäu, Germany ski gift to Abenaki Ski Area.  They include watching the live-streamed WCTV Program from Wolfeboro, New Hampshire’s Kingswood Arts Center to Germany on December 2, 2023, reading numerous American and German feature newspaper articles as well as US congressional and senatorial statements of recognition from Washington, DC.

Each attachment takes you on a journey that represents moral conviction, love of family, a role in skiing and shared patriotism across continents.

This historic gift was generously given by The Dr. Hermann Schütze Family from Bad Kissingen, Germany on December 2, 2023, by the professional commitment of international ski patroller Dr. Steven A. Reinfurt working with The Town of Wolfeboro Selectmen, Parks & Recreation Director Christine Collins and Operations Director Chuck Smith, Kingswood Arts Center, New Hampshire State government officials, U.S. and German militaries, Wolfeboro Community TV, Friends of Abenaki, The Abenaki Outing Club, NHSKI Association, New England Ski Museum, various journalists globally and National Ski Patrol Headquarters in Denver, Colorado.  In short, it was a labor of love story that took Steven fifteen years to find Hermann’s skis and his family’s tender story a forever home!
