Electric Service FAQ

Where do I sign up for electric service? For existing services, applications are available on the town website or at the Town Offices located at 84 South Main Street – (603) 569‐8150. For new services, contact the Municipal Electric Department Technical Operations Center located at 133 Middleton Road ‐ (603) 569‐8157. To protect against loss, the Department may require a security in the form of a cash deposit or other guarantee for new tenants.

When are electric bills issued?
Electric accounts are billed monthly. Each section of town is divided up into routes which are read and billed around the same time each month. Charges for service are predicted on monthly billing which, as far as practicable will be a minimum of twenty‐five (25) days apart. All bills are due on presentation.

Where do I sign up for water/sewer service?
Applications for both existing and new water and/or sewer services are available on the town website or at the Town Offices located at 84 South Main Street – (603) 569‐8183. Water/sewer services are billed to the owner of the property as listed on the Town tax records. Upon request, copies of bills (3rd party billing) may be sent to tenants.
