Police Department

 

The mission of the Wolfeboro Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in the community by working cooperatively with the public, within the framework of the United States Constitution, the Constitution of the State of New Hampshire, and ordinances & policies of the Town of Wolfeboro to enforce the laws, preserve the peace and reduce crime in an effort to provide a safe community for all citizens through fair and impartial enforcement of State Laws and ordinances of the Town of Wolfeboro.  

The Wolfeboro Police Department is committed to the prevention of crime; the protection of life and property; the preservation of peace, order and safety; the enforcement of laws and ordinances and the safeguarding of Constitutional Rights.

The Department is comprised of 14 sworn officers certified by the State of New Hampshire. The men and women of the department provide the following services to the community:
