Wolfeboro Waters Committee

Wolfeboro Waters is a citizens group that came about as concerns heightened over water quality of the lakes and ponds that are such an important part of the character of Wolfeboro and the surrounding area. We initiate communication and outreach programs to develop more community awareness and involvement in protecting these precious resources. We hope you will join us!

Subcommittees:  The Assessment Subcommittee seeks to analyze the conditions and trends of the water quality of Wolfeboro’s waterbodies, to understand their fundamental chemistry and biology, and to identify and to prevent threats to them. The subcommittee has a particular focus on risks of harmful toxins from high concentrations of cyanobacteria.
