Billings & Collections - Real Estate Tax & Utility Services

The Tax Collector/Billings & Collections Department is responsible for the issuance of statements and requisite collection for a
variety of town services including:
     *  Real Estate Taxes
     *  Yield Taxes
     *  Betterment Assessments
     *  Electric Bills
     *  Water/Sewer Bills
     *  Solid Waste Facility User Permits
     *  Solid Waste Disposal Coupons
     *  Boat Parking Permits for Island Residents
 
The office is located in the Town Hall building at 84 South Main Street and is open Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm.
 

There are several ways to pay bills:

*On-line through this website.  Go to the home page and choose either the Pay Utility Bills or Pay/Review Property Tax Bills button.  (Convenience fees may apply.)

*By phone – Call our toll free automated services 1-(844) 869-3218.  (Be sure to have your account number handy for reference.)  This option is only available for utility payments.

*Mail payments.  Mail is being picked up and processed during normal business hours.

*Drop off payments in the secure receptacle located behind the Town Hall building at the far end of the parking lot. The drop box is checked several times each day.
