Invitation:
Sealed Bid proposals, plainly marked, “Finance Department- TITAN HORIZONTALBALER” on the outside of the envelope addressed to Finance Dept. 84 South Main St. PO Box 629, Wolfeboro, NH 03894, will be accepted until 2:00PM on February 24, 2022, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Questions regarding the bid should be addressed to Adam Tasker at 603-651-6559. The baler will not be ready for installation until after the March 2022 vote, so bid accordingly.

Baler Specs:
One (1) New Titan model 6-CV Horizontal, closed door, manual tie, full eject baler with the following specifications: 30HP/1,800 RPM/460 Volt/3 Phase/TFEC/High Efficiency, 115 gallon hydraulic reservoir tank with oil, oil heater installed in tank for cold weather operations, 74 PGM-HP piston pump, 8”x5.5”x89” Main cylinder, system max pressure 3,000psi, remote emergency controller, hopper opening of 82”x96”d slanted to accommodate skid steer loading. Must have a left door swing.

Trade-in:
1998 Excel horizontal baler, purchased “AS-IS” from the Town

Scope of Work:
The Scope of Work includes all equipment and manpower to install New Titan horizontal baler, attach loading chute, test and instruct staff on use.  Also includes the removal of Excel horizontal baler.

Payment:
Payment terms: 20% deposit, 30% prior to shipment, 50% due 15 days from installation.

Insurance:
Amounts of required insurance shall be as follows: Comprehensive General Liability; Bodily injury or property damage- $500,000/$1,000,000 per occurrence and general aggregate. Automobile and Truck Liability; Bodily injury or property damage- $500,000/$1,000,000 per occurrence and general aggregate.
