It is the Town Manager’s responsibility to keep the Board of Selectmen informed relative to the Town’s needs and conditions, as well as to provide the Board with any reports that may be required by law or requested by the Board. While the Town Manager may participate in discussions that come before the Board of Selectmen, he may not vote on matters before the Board. In addition, the Town Manager hires and fires all Town employees, negotiates and signs contracts for the Town, and is responsible for all Town properties as well as the Town’s business affairs. In Wolfeboro, the Town Manager is also responsible for the Town’s cemeteries.
