1:00 p.m. Linda Murray called the meeting to order.

    •    Kathy Barnard made a motion to accept the last minutes of September 9, 2019.  All voted to accept, motion passed.
    •    Linda Murray asked if anyone wanted to volunteer to take over the chairmanship of the committee.  No one was interested at this time.  Linda said she & Paul will co-chair the committee for now.
    •    The name change was discussed.  The Communications Subcommittee came up with the name change for this committee to Wolfeboro Waters.  Discussion followed.  The reasons the Communications Subcommittee came up with the name are because clearly this committee is more than cyanobacteria.  There are more bodies of water.  They put out an RFP, and they had at least 14 meetings.    Anne Blodgett asked about the mission of this committee.  Define the mission.  Linda mentioned the Accessing Subcommittee has in draft form their report with the name change to Wolfeboro Waters.  Anne Blodgett mentioned the Water Summit.  She also asked about town committees.  Paul said there was a lot of information that will be on the website.  Both Linda & Warren mentioned reports from subcommittees.
    •    Paul talked about the 4 buckets from the Communications Subcommittee.  Peer review & science, news, education, and publishing facts.
    •    Linda talked about the 2 Warrant Articles that relate to the committee.  WA #12 for $450,000 and WA #18 for $55,000.  WA #18 contains $15,000 for BMP’s for Rust Pond, $20,000 for NHDES 319 Grant, Lake Wentworth Phase 4, and $20,000 for the committee for outreach.
    •    The mission of communications was brought up.
    •    Anne discussed homeowners from Cricket Hill off of Forest Road and reaching them.  Pat brought up AmeriCorps members.  Runoff happening to a specific homeowner can be pointed out to them.  Ben Dryer and Underwood Engineers are focused on what the Town can do.
    •    Anne brought up the program for April 16th at 5pm.  This is for the overall community.  She asked for the Town’s help with labels.  Marie mentioned the labels are done and printed.  Anne said the Town can clone this for the other neighborhoods.  Anne talked about food & beverages for the meeting.  Anne mentioned her Lake Wentworth Association Program Committee.  Linda wanted clarification.  Linda is not comfortable with the taxpayers paying for the food & beer.  Anne said she can get donors for the food & beer.  Landscapers can be the sponsors for the food & beverages.
    •    Back to the name change discussion.  Anne suggested Wolfeboro Water Quality Committee.  Discussion followed.  Mike Turner made a motion to send the name change discussion back to the subcommittees.  Kathy Barnard seconded it.  Motion passed.  Mary DeVries spoke about the Communications Subcommittee discussions on names.
    •    Linda would like for the next meeting the 2020 work plans from the subcommittees.
    •    Anne said the sponsors, landscapers could pay $50 a table.  Anne suggested that the Milfoil Committee be under this committee.
    •    Shelley mentioned only attending meetings that apply to her expertise.
    •     Next meeting: Monday, March 2, 2020 at 1 PM.
    •    Lenore & Kathy made a motion to adjourn the meeting seconded by Mike at 2:06 pm.

Respectfully submitted,
Marie Durgan
